Rocky Mountain National Park Bike Tours Estes Park Colorado

Prepare For Your Tour

Weather in the mountains changes rapidly and drastically at times, making it difficult to prepare for a visit to Estes Park. One thing to remember when checking the weather forecast for Estes Park (elevation 7522') is that the weather at 12,000' may be much different. It could be very chilly at the high elevations even if it is sunny and warm in town. It is wise to be prepared for rapidly changing weather around here! Since we have van support for the tours, you are welcome to bring more than you think you need, as extra gear can be stowed in the van, just in case.

We do carry some extra warm clothing including jackets, gloves and hats that riders are able to borrow in case those extra layers just won't fit in the suitcase.

Please Bring

  • Layers of warm and comfortable clothing
  • Jacket
  • Raingear
  • Gloves, Hats
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Camera
